KJV 1611 Verses

People with bitterness in their hearts...

People with bitterness in their hearts never sees the good side of the other person and he can never treat him right. It happens when he only looks at the ugly side of the person and treating himself to be more pious than the other.

I've seen people like these, who magnifies the fault of others but they themselves are found to be guilty of dishonesty and cover-up. Self-righteous people have these mind-setting and usually collects and draws sympathy from colleagues who have the same appetite.

These should not be the case as Jesus taught us "to love our neighbor as thyself", more so, "we have to love our enemy, even bless them that curse us, who despitefully use us and persecute us, that ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven" (Mat 5:43-48).

These people have not yet come to perfection or maturity and the wisdom that they have is carnal, "earthly, sensual and devilish" (James 3:13-18).

They cannot live with real LOVE and PEACE.

There's a saying that goes like these:
More talk, MORE mistake. Less talk, LESS mistake. No talk, NO mistake.

Mature Christian can easily control their tongue.
He thinks before he talks rather than talk before he thinks.

Just read James 3:1-13 & Matthew 12:34-37 and see what an untamed tongue can do.

Colossians 4:6 says, "Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man."

1 Peter 2:1 further says, "Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, all evil speakings,"

Let our good works do the talking and just keep our mouth closed as taught to us in James 1:26-27.

How can we differentiate HEARING and LISTENING?

HEARING is the process, function or power of perceiving sound.
LISTENING is to give ear to : hear

People may just HEAR the sounds we produce when we speak but when people starts to LISTEN to what we speak, that's the time he gave more attention and importance to it and be able to understand fully what is the message we are trying to deliver to them that would result in both positive and negative actions and reactions.

People before intentionally REFUSE and REJECT to LISTEN to the Word of God as evident by this passage on

Acts 28:26-27 Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive: For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

James, in James 1:22-25, reminded us today that if we do the same we just end up "deceiving ourselves, For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was."

God always speaks to us with a purpose, and that is for our good, and blessing comes to those good HEARER who truly LISTENS to every words He says that empowers people to do good and better for His name.

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Hebrews 3:15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

Temptation is not a Sin...

Temptation is not a sin, but when we are enticed and drawn by our own lust (or fleshly desires) temptation bringeth forth sin.

Jesus, like we are today, was once tempted by Satan after He fasted for 40 days and nights yet Jesus NEVER sinned because He rejected Satan's temptations (Mat 4:1-11).

We can do the same by asking God thru PRAYERS to empower us every time temptations comes to us in throngs. Jesus teach us to PRAY (Mat 6:9-15) so that temptation will not subdue us.

I John 4:4 says "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world".

I Corinthians 10:13 says, "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."

We can overcome temptation thru our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Salvation is SIMPLE and FREE, just do these things from the bottom of your heart with Faith:
Accept that you are a sinner, that needs salvation.
Believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross to saved sinners like you.
Confess your sins and repent, surrender your life and will to God.
In Jesus name I pray..... AMEN!

Human has limitations...

Human has limitations, and there is no exceptions!
And when we are pushed to the limit by different circumstances, we become weak and helpless, we always long for an immediate solutions, and that's the time temptations becomes so strong that we oftentimes gave in without thinking what is the end result.

God wants us to have PATIENCE in times like these, "for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee" (Heb 13:5).

We need to have FAITH in GOD, who promised to US that even in times like these, HE is still our GOD, that HE is still in control, in that, He sometimes allow these things to happen to us to TEST and GROW our FAITH, TRUST and CONFIDENCE in HIM.

I Corinthians 10:13 says, "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."

Romans 8:26-28 - Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Let's humbly ASK and PRAY that God will increase more our FAITH in HIM, for us to be able to hold unto Him, when troubles and temptations comes.

Blessed is the man...

Jeremiah 17:7 says "Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is."

It s a fact that apart for God we "can do nothing" (John 15:1-5). God wants us to rely on Him, He wants us to succeed thru Him (Phil 4:13). God declares that "Blessed is the man that trusteh in the Lord".

On the contrary, we can do things on our own but it will only lead us to perdition and destruction, "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death' (Prov 14:12).

And worst than that Jeremiah 17:5 declares "Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

+++

God is a loving Father...

God is a loving Father who will always guide us unto all truths, although, He sometimes allow us to experience the ugly result of our own choosing, yet, He always enlighten us and help us return to the right path He desires for us.

God is a loving and gracious Father to us, yet, He never fo...rget to discipline us whenever we do err from what is right. "For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth,.. for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?" (Heb 12:5-8)

"Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die. Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell." (Proverbs 23:13-14).

When we knowingly and willfully disobey God, we know that, He will not withhold to use the "rod of correction" for us.

God loves us and the only way we can please Him is by obeying Him, yet if we commit mistake we can humbly repent and ask forgiveness and He will bless us more and more.

In times we feel exhausted...

In times we feel exhausted, tired and lonely of this life, when we want to give up and surrender, Jesus invites us to come unto Him to make everything easy and light and He will give us the rest that we need (Matthew 11:28-30) both physical and spiritual.

He knows what we feel and He is a loving... God who "will never leave us nor forsake" us (Hebrews 13:5).

When we feel all these things, all we have to do is "LOOK UNTO JESUS the AUTHOR and FINISHER of our FAITH". The race of life is not yet over, it's still going on.

"Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed" (Hebrews 12:12-13).

Faith is the substance of things hope for...

Meriam - Webster's Definition of: FAITH!
FAITH - a) firm belief in something for which there is no proof

               b) complete trust

This definition suited well on the 1st verse of Hebrews Chapter 11 which says "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" and not a mere belief on something.

John 4:24 says "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." God is delighted with people who have complete trust and confidence in Him even if we don't see Him as what he says to Thomas, "because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed" (John 20:29)

Furhtermore, Jesus says, "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him" (John 4:23).

Faith sees the unseen things of God and it comes to us when we listen and hear the Word of God (Romans 10:17)

Salvation is a Free Gift from God...

Salvation is a free gift from God, anybody can have it as long as he accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, with genuine repentance and confession of sins.

Salvation can be easily obtain NOW or ANYTIME we come to Jesus.
...For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13)
...behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2)

Working out or living up our salvation is the hardest part in a Christian life, it needs total surrender and reliance to God's grace and mercy to sustain and help us in times we need help.

God is always there to help us anytime we need Him, "Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised; for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee" (Hebrews 13:5).

+++

Loving and serving...

Showing our love for others involves a lot of patience, sincerity, dedication and sacrifice.

It involves, 1st of all, our self-dedication to God that whatever happens we will love and serve our neighbors as we love ourselves without asking and expecting anything in return. Loving and serving others means... LOVING and SERVING GOD!

Much more, we are told to love our enemies which is the hardest part of LOVING and SERVING others. Never expect praises from people who have false and negative impressions upon you, we don't love and serve them to gain praises and admiration. We do love and serve them because of our LOVE and SERVICE to God.

Let's just remember this passage,

"God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name,..." (Hebrews 6:10)

"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord." (1Cor 15:58)

+++

Jesus was tempted like we are...

God knows our limitations, what we need and what we feel, for He once lived with us and "was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

In the darkest and deepest hours in our lives, where we find no one else to turn to, let's not forget that a LOVING FATHER is always there waiting, willing and ...ready to help us if we just call upon Him.

"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need".

Anyone can do these with HUMILITY and REPENTANCE. Accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Establish an everlasting relationship with Jesus.

Cumbered about with much Serving...

Busy days are here again but let's not forget to give the best time for the LORD in everything we do as He reminded Martha not to be "cumbered about much serving, and ...thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her" (Luke 10:38-42), and that is ... to GIVE TIME FOR THE LORD even in simple PRAYER and MEDITATION in REVERENCE and show of GRATITUDE for HIS MERCY and GRACE towards us.

Let's be THANKFUL that HE gave us another DAY to LIVE.

God...

God won't ask what kind of car you drove.
He'll ask how many people you drove who
didn't have transportation...

God won't ask the square footage of your house,
He'll ask how many people you welcome into
your home...

God won't ask about the clothes you had in your closet,
He'll ask how many you helped to clothe...

God won't ask what your highest salary was.
He'll ask if you compromised your character to obtain it...

God won't ask what your job title was.
He'll ask if you performed your job to the best of your ability...

God won't ask you how many friends you had.
He'll ask how many people to whom you were a friend...

God won't ask in what neighborhood you lived.
He'll ask how you treated your neighbor...

God won't ask about the color of your skin.
He'll ask about the content of your character...

God won't ask why it took you so long to seek salvation.
He'll lovingly take you to your mansion in heaven,
and not to the gates of Hell...

God won't have to ask how many people you share
and forwarded this to.
He already knows your decision.

KJV 1611 Verses

Sunday, January 16, 2011
Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
(
James 3:13-18 KJV 1611)

Saturday, January 15, 2011

If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
(
James 1:26-27 KJV 1611)

Friday, January 14, 2011

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
(
James 1:22-25 KJV 1611)

Thursday, January 13, 2011

Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren.
(
James 1:13-16 KJV 1611)

Wednesday, January 12, 2011

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
(
James 1:2-8 KJV 1611)

Tuesday, January 11, 2011

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
(
Hebrews 13:5-6 KJV 1611)

Monday, January 10, 2011

And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
(
Hebrews 12:5- 8 KJV 1611)

Sunday, January 9, 2011

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith...; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
(
Hebrews 12:1 KJV 1611)

Saturday, January 8, 2011

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
(
Hebrews 11:1, 6 KJV 1611)

Thursday, January 6, 2011

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
(
Hebrews 10:22-25 KJV 1611)

Tuesday, January 4, 2011

For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
(
Hebrews 6:10 KJV 1611)

Monday, January 3, 2011

Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
(
Hebrews 4:14-16 KJV 1611)

Sunday, January 2, 2011

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
(
Hebrews 4:12 KJV 1611)

Saturday, January 1, 2011

For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end;Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
(
Hebrews 3:12-15 KJV 1611)

Wednesday, December 22, 2010

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
(Titus 2:11-12 KJV 1611)

Monday, December 20, 2010
But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience. The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded. In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you. Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again; Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
(Titus 2:1-10 KJV 1611)

Sunday, December 19, 2010

Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
(Titus 1:15-16 KJV 1611)

Wednesday, December 15, 2010

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
(2 Timothy 4:2-4 KJV 1611)

Tuesday, December 14, 2010

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
(2 Timothy 3:12-17 KJV 1611)

Sunday, December 12, 2010

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
(2 Timothy 3:1-5 KJV 1611)

Saturday, December 11, 2010

Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
(2 Timothy 2:22-26 KJV 1611)

Friday, December 10, 2010

Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
(2 Timothy 2:19-21 KJV 1611)

Tuesday, December 7, 2010

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
(1 Timothy 2:15 KJV 1611)

Sunday, December 5, 2010

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
(1 Timothy 2:1-6 KJV 1611)

Sunday, November 28, 2010

Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
(Clossians 4:6 KJV 1611)

Saturday, November 27, 2010
Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them. But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
(Colossians 3:1-10 KJV 1611)

Friday, November 26, 2010

As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
(Colossians 2:6-9 KJV 1611)

Thursday, November 25, 2010

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even theWho hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
(Colossians 1:12-17 KJV 1611)

(Philippians 4:19 KJV 1611)

Monday, November 22, 2010
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
(Philippians 4:8 KJV 1611)

Sunday, November 22, 2010

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
(Philippians 4:4-7 KJV 1611)

Saturday, November 21, 2010

For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
(Philippians 3:20-21 KJV 1611)

Friday, November 20, 2010

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
(Philippians 3:13-14 KJV 1611)

Thursday, November 19, 2010

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
(Philippians 2:5-11 KJV 1611)

Tuesday, November 18, 2010

Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.
(Ephesians 6:5-8 KJV1611)

Monday, November 17, 2010

Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
(Ephesians 6:1-4 KJV 1611)

Sunday, November 16, 2010

Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
(Ephesians 5:17-21 KJV 1611)

Saturday, November 15, 2010

Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
(Ephesians 5:14-16)

Wednesday, November 14, 2010

Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.
Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil. Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
(Ephesians 4:25-32 KJV 1611)

Tuesday, November 13, 2010

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
(Ephesians 4:11-12 KJV 1611)

Tuesday, November 12, 2010

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
(Ephesians 3:16-19 KJV 1611)

Sunday, November 11, 2010

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
(Ephesians 2:10-13 KJV 1611)

Saturday, November 10, 2010
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
(Ephesians 2:8-9)

Friday, November 9, 2010

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
(Galatians 6:7-10 KJV 1611)

Thursday, November 8, 2010

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
 (Galatians 5:19-24 KJV 1611)

Thursday, November 7, 2010

But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
(Galatians 4:4-7 KJV 1611)

Tuesday, November 6, 2010

I am crucified with Christ: neverthless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
(Galatians 2:20)

Monday, November 5, 2010

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
(2 Corinthians 13:5)

Sunday,
November 4, 2010
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
(2 Corinthians 6:14-16 KJV 1611)

Saturday, November 3, 2010
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
(2 Corinthians 5:18-20)

For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
(2 Corinthians 4:16-18)

Wednesday, October 30, 2010

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
(2 Corinthians 4:3-4)

Tuesday, October 29, 2010

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
(1 Corinthians 15:51-54)

Tuesday, October 28, 2010

 (1 Corinthians 10:13)

Monday, October 27, 2010

Friday, October 25, 2010

Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
(1 Corinthians 3:18-20)

Friday, October 24, 2010

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
(1 Corinthians 3:16-17)

Wednesday, October 23, 2010

For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble. Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
(1 Corinthians 3:11-15 KJV 1611)

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
(1 Corinthians 2:14-16 KJV 1611)
